Shipping policy

Domestic Shipping:

  • Timelines below are for shipping only and do not include turn around time (TAT) to fill your order as stated in the Terms of Service. 
  • To maintain TATs on orders, THERE IS NO LONGER ANY COMBINED SHIPPING BY DEFAULT. If you have multiple orders that are ready and your order can be combined, it will be and any excess shipping from established rates is refunded or your shipping may be upgraded, i.e., upgrade from 1st Class to Priority Mail.
  • We avoid shipments during the weekend to avoid melting especially since pickups are typically earlier on weekends due to earlier closure of carrier offices.
  • We utilize USPS and UPS as our preferred carriers.  Therefore, shipping can range from 1-5 business days depending on carrier. 
  • Flat rates have been established based on weight and dimension of packaging needed for your order.  
  • Depending on carrier and service, your order may ship in a bubble mailer style envelope, non branded or carrier branded envelope(s) and/or box(es).  
  • Your order is subject to ship with either of the 2 carriers.  
  • If a particular carrier DOES NOT deliver to your address, please make note of this in the comments section on the checkout page. We will verify if shipping services are available and will ship accordingly.  We reserve the right to determine the best option. 
  • Rates established are less than typical retail costs. 
  • In the event, that free shipping is offered, shipping offered is economy shipping and this may take longer transit times.
  • Please ensure your email address is accurate.  You will receive a tracking number when your order has been scheduled for drop off or pickup.  Scheduled pickups are typically scheduled for 1-2 days after your label is purchased.  Please allow up to 48 hours for updates on your tracking.

 

Claims for Damaged and Lost Shipments:
We are not responsible for damages that occur during shipping or lost packages. We offer voluntary package protection through Corso at a low rate for peace of mind.  Any orders without this protection must report issues to the corresponding carrier otherwise contact Corso. Every package except those shipped via USPS First Class mail comes with $100 insurance. Payouts are at the discretion of the carrier. If you receive a package that has been damaged by the carrier and need any information to assist with your claim, please email us at gigi@ascentedadventure.com. Please note that any packages marked as delivered by USPS do not qualify for reimbursement and if claim is submitted it will be denied by USPS.
